2008 SPRING BREAK POSITION CLINIC

Monday, 4/7/08 – Thursday, 4/10/08 in Trabuco Canyon

During Spring Break, Lifeletics will be offering position skills clinics for in-depth, advanced training. 2008 workouts consist of four days of defensive, offensive and strength training instruction. Each session is designed to provide a complete and thorough workout (physical and mental) covering a defensive position of your choice, as well as hitting and strength training.

Lifeletics first offered this workout in 2007 with great success. Groups are held to small numbers, ensuring that each athlete receives large amounts of individual attention and instruction.

The Position Skills Clinic combines three facets of instruction:
  • Defensive Position Training - Choose one position to train. Each day one hour of instruction is dedicated to defensive training at one of the following positions: catcher position, infield, outfield, pitcher position
  • Offensive Training - One hour dedicated to offensive training and execution (cages, on-field, individual instruction)
  • Strength/Agility Training - One hour dedicated to baseball-specific strength and agility training (explosive footwork, technique, strengthening, speed)

Instructors approach workouts with a high energy level, positive attitude, and sincere desire to provide the athletes with the tools and technique to compete at the highest levels.
